The country's first public K-12 Arabic immersion program has launched this year in Fremont, CA. FAME Public Charter School started a dual English/Arabic immersion program at the kindergarten level, and hopes to add a grade every year, to meet the growing demand for bilinguals, and particularly, Arabic speakers.
