While many arts programs throughout the city, state, and country are being cut or downsized, there's one little program in San Francisco that's actually growing - the Street Artists program. You know, those people with their booths selling things like beaded jewelry, woodwork, and paintings around the City. I interviewed the head of the Street Artists Program in San Francisco, Howard Lazar, and some Street Artists.
