The Art of Boring the FBI



Like many Americans with Muslim names, San Jose State Professor and artist Hasan Elahi had a hard time flying after September 11th. He was detained and interrogated by the FBI, and was eventually cleared. He had to share alot of personal information with the Feds, where he went, what he did. And that's what inspired him to launch a project called Tracking Transience in which he photographs every single detail of his daily life and uploads it on his website for the world - and the Feds- to see. I sat down with him and asked him - why?
