Not on TV, not on radio, in a book or on YouTube- but a real live person, TELLING you a story. Live storytelling has been an integral part of most of the world’s cultures for centuries, and it’s dwindling now with technology. But it’s alive and well in many places, including right here in the Bay Area. Oakland resident Diane Ferlatte is an award-winning professional storyteller. She travels the world, weaving exciting tales for young and old audiences, drawn from African American heritage.
